Monroe

Los Angeles-based MONROE is a four-man band penetrating the music scenes on both East and West coasts. Their new strain of alternative rock merges with the heartfelt grooves of funk and hip hop to create a modern sound that transcends audiences and is uniquely their own. The quartet joined forces in the summer of 2009, generating a melting pot of style that yielded a sound comparable to bands such as Incubus, Radiohead, N.E.R.D. and the Police. Their first E.P., Outer Space was recorded by the end of the summer and features seven songs with impeccable technique, passionate vocals and irresistibly catchy hooks. MONROE has performed at several well-known venues in the LA area, including the The House of Blues, Citizen Smith, Libertine, The Roxy, and The Whiskey, as well as numerous private parties. They now live in Hollywood, CA after attending Boston’s Berklee College of Music. They are currently recording their next album.
